The prototype

A notebook with a world of its own.

The supplied Lash Notebook project explores a page turning journal with editable writing, font controls and JSON backup and restore. Its cover gives the tool a character of its own: Finn’s Journal.

This is the supplied notebook design: its leather cover, wood backdrop, lined pages and original page-turning layout. We repaired the broken loading script and removed links to images that were missing from the archive, so the editor, fonts and backup controls work.

The notebook saves notes in your browser. You can download a backup from its toolbar; it does not send your writing to a server.
